New week, new work! Introducing Devoto, another of our conceptual design case studies.

Devoto takes inspiration from the ancestral belief that the Goddess Mayahuel brought nourishment to the land, and for this, her earthly form, the Agave plant, was worshipped.

The dark and smoky design aesthetic takes inspiration from the roasting stage in the process of creating Mezcal, the part which gives the spirit it's intense and distinctive flavour. The brand name originates from the ancient love story between the people of Oaxaca, Mayahuel and Agave. Devoto aims to show the adoration to an ancient handcrafted product reimagined for the modern Mezcal drinker.
